Colorful Wall Art

The process for my wall art pieces is less step-by-step than the bottle lamp process. Some pieces start with the under painting for which I then create a pattern of overlaid glass pieces. Others begin with a selection of glass pieces in combination with each other for which I create a background. The backgrounds are more often alcohol ink on Yupo (a non-porous plastic “paper) but some are acrylic paint. If I need to. I ink or paint the back of clear glass to create the look I want to shine out on the front. The glass designs are glued on before the resin is applied.
